Heavenly Father, I praise You for the opportunity to not only be a watcher on the Wall but a person who can stand in the gap. I praise You that You have given me the gift of praying Your word to You and that You hear me. I know that Your church is to be a house of prayer for all the nations. So, today I come before You and pray for the country of eSwatini.
Holy Spirit I pray for the king of this country. I pray that Your Spirit will put a hedge of protection around him and his family. I pray that he will learn who You are and gain the gift of salvation. Help him to rule with justice, wisdom, discernment and compassion. Open the eyes of this king to the needs of his people and help him to lead them with boldness and courage. Help this country to learn to honor You and to follow Your leadership on how to live their lives.
Holy Spirit I pray for the many orphans who live in this country because of HIV. I pray for all the widows in this land who have lost their husbands to this awful disease. I pray for the orphanage that Compassionate Life sponsors and the school that they run also. I pray for all the children who have sponsors and all that are waiting for sponsors. I pray that You will bless this group of people and help them to grow food, learn new ways to live, and to come under Your guidance so that they do not make the mistakes of their parents or follow in their sins. Holy Spirit help the leaders who run the orphanage and school, give them renewed strength and passion. Help them to love each child as if they were their own. Holy Spirit help bring in finances to build and increase this project to assist and help even more people. Help Compassionate Life be able to raise funds and to help and assist more people than they have already done. Holy Spirit we ask for a miracle to happen in this country so that these people can turn their hearts towards You and become leaders to the rest of the continent of Africa. Remove the sinful behavior that has helped spread HIV. Remove greed, pride, and lust from the adults of this country. Let there be a new revival that spreads throughout this small country and wins the hearts of the people to serve You. Help this revival to be so strong that it reaches the king and his family also. We lift up these people and ask for Your mercy but also for Your blessing to make them Your people. We ask that Your kingdom starts in this country. We stand in the gap to pray for life for this country and not condemnation or destruction. We pray for a new generation that is servant to You and understands not only the gift of Your salvation but how to love their neighbor as themselves. Help this country to become a new light and example to the world.
Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for the workers, that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. And pray that these workers be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things He commands. May the Lord direct hearts of the people of eSwantini into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance….Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.
