P.U.S.H.

Heavenly Father I praise You for the ability to come to Your throne room daily and petition for others and for needs for me and the church. I praise You for being a God who not only hears us but responds to us. I praise You that You who can see all things past, present and future are still willing to listen to our prayers and to take in to consideration what we come to You about. I also praise You for being a God who acts as our friend and just listens to us when we need to talk and express ourselves. I praise You for not giving up on us or shunning us when we rant, rave or wander for a short period of time. You still believe in us even when we try to take control or exhibit pride or rebellion. You suffer our inadequacies and make us strong through our weaknesses.

Holy Spirit help me to be like the old lady in the parable who continues to go to the judge until she gets justice. Help me to pray until something happens with the really important areas of life. Help me to pray fervently and consistently for the healing of those who need to be healed. Let me be faithful to pray for those who are grieving or hurting and need Your comfort. Help me to be conscientious of those who have needs and do my best to help them and most of pray for Your intervention in life. Teach me to pray for the sinners around me knowing that I once was a sinner just like them until You gave me a pardon when I asked You into my life. Help me to believe when I pray that You will move the mountains in my life that stand in the way of serving You. Help me to be discerning in my prayers of when to continue and when to move on.

For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
