Heavenly Father I give You praise for You are worthy of praise all of the time. I praise You also to help me remember whom I belong to. I praise You for the food on my table, for the job I have to pay for my house and for filling fulfilled. I praise You for a church where I can grow, feel encouraged and feel a part of the family. Help me today to take command of my morning and day so that the enemy can not defeat me as I do my best to represent You and serve You with all my heart, mind and spirit.
Holy Spirit help me to instill Your word into my heart and to meditate on it so that I can disperse the anger and frustration I am feeling right now and not let it consume who I am. Let me believe and focus on: Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Therefore, …work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For God is the One working in you, both to will and to do His good pleasure. Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe. [2 Corinthians 7:1; Philippians 4:8; Philippians 2:12&13; Philippians 2:14&15]
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Amen. [Romans 15:13]
