Life Is a Mystery To Be Sought After

“This is what the Lord says, He who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is His name; ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’”

Holy Spirit, Your word tells me, “O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable ae His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor? Or who has first given to Him, and it shall be repaid to him? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever! Amen” “Listen, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible will put on the incorruption, and this mortal will put on immortality. When this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality; then the saying that is written shall come to pass, ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’” “Without question, great is the mystery of godliness: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached to the Gentiles (all people not of Jewish descent), believed on in the world, taken up into glory.” “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Holy Spirit, I seek the wisdom to understand what I need to know so that I can live my life as You lead. I also need to have the patience that I will not know or understand everything and that is okay. I also know, when my life changes and I enter eternity, I will then be able to grasp what I can not know right now. Help me to study Your word and grow in the wisdom I need to teach, be an example of and express to those who become curious, aware of You or are new Christ followers so that I can help them in their walk. Thank You for all the word does explain so that I can always remember that my Creator, the Father, my Savior, the Son Jesus Christ, and my comforter and guide, You the Holy Spirit have created me with a purpose and show me Your will as I need so that I can live as a living sacrifice to do Your will and not my own. In Jesus name, my advocate, Amen.
