Knowing How Much You Love Me

“I will exalt You, my God the King; I will praise Your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise You and extol Your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends Your works to another; they tell of Your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of Your majesty— and I will meditate on Your wonderful works. They tell of the power of Your awesome works—and I will proclaim Your great deeds. They celebrate Your goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.”

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

Holy Spirit, I have come to realize just how much God loves us for the Father gave up His son to come and be a sacrifice for our sins so we could have a personal relationship that was lost in the Garden of Eden because our sins. Jesus came as a babe into a world with little to average up bringing for the time and then gave up his life on the cross to bear our sins for He only with no sin could do this. And You the Holy Spirit reside in us, a very fragile and weak vessel so that we can hear from Christ and Christ can hear from us and so You can give us wisdom and discernment to carry out God’s will.

Holy Spirit, help me to always fear God, but always love and praise Him also. Help me to daily seek an audience in the throne room with my advocate, Christ Jesus and to listen when He speaks. Help me to see the light before my feet that You provide so that my steps are sure and my faith will become stronger. Help me to die out to myself and my wants so that I can know the will of God for me and my life. Let me grow strong and confident in wisdom, understanding, knowledge, discernment, joy, peace, self-control but most of all in love and compassion. Let the hope of the resurrection stand as a testimonial to my life that I have a purpose and a destination. Teach me to forgive, give good counsel and to demonstrate Your will on and in my life.

Holy Spirit, teach me to pray with the heart that demonstrates humility, brokenness, sincerity and truth. Let my prayers join with others and become mighty in Your power and will. Let me pray with wisdom so that I pray within Your will and listen to Your will. Let me be strong even though I feel so weak. Help me to be fully assured that You hear my voice and listen to what I bring before You so that our relationship can grow as it did with You and Daniel, Joseph, David, Peter, and Paul. Let me become a trusted individual to do Your will and to not hesitate to praise Your name
at every opportunity. Help me to pray for the sick and for the broken and offer true hope and restoration. Help me to speak only when You want me to speak, go where You want me to go, do what You want me to do, and think on what is important to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
