In You, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. In Your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me; turn your ear to me and save me. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for You are my rock and my fortress. Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.
Holy Spirit teach me to humble myself and to seek Your voice daily. Help me to become a living sacrifice daily so that I can know Your good and perfect will. Help me to renew my mind daily by meditating on Your word, listening to worship music, and looking for You moving in my life and those around me. Holy Spirit touch my lips so that I speak only what You guide me to say. Help me to guard my mouth so I no longer hurt others. Help me to see life through Your eyes. Let my desires change to being the same as Your desires. Help me to draw closer to You.
Heavenly Father help me to be faithful to pray fervently and constantly for all the love ones who do not know You. Help me to stand in the gap for them so that they have time to give their lives to You. Teach me to live a life of humility in front of them so that they do not think of me as proud but realize that I am only forgiven. Help me to be a servant leader. Help me to be willing to get down to the level of washing smelly dirty feet if it will win people over to You. Help me to be a worker that brings You honor. Help me to walk close enough to You and listening to Your Spirit that I will demonstrate Your love, mercy, grace and be an example to Your salvation.
Holy Spirit help me in times of tribulation to turn to You and trust in Your presence to be next to me and to walk with me when life is so bad it is unexplainable. Help me to trust in You when my heart is broken, when my dreams are destroyed, when I am attacked by those I love the most. Help me to stand on the foundation of faith even when I see no hope. Let my heart know that Your hand is upon me and that I need to trust even when I see no way to get out of the tribulation I am in. Help me to feel Your love when I feel unloved, help me to feel Your courage when I am afraid, teach me to lean on Your wisdom when I fail to understand.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart to not only be acceptable to You, but to be faithful to lead me into a life where I am so focused on You that I become less affected by temptations and sin challenging my life. Help me to lean on You, my rock and my redeemer. Direct my heart into Your love and help me to learn the patience of Christ. Holy Spirit prompt my heart to continue to walk steadily on the path that is for me to walk. Help me to be responsive to Your voice so that I can cause less harm and pain in this life to others. Help me to control my emotions and my anger so that love, grace, mercy and peace rule in my heart and mind. Let me never, ever quench Your Spirit. Flow through me daily and use my living sacrifice as Your temple to be a place for sinners to come to know of You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
