Heavenly Father, I give You praise for today, even though it has not started like a normal day. I praise You that You walk beside me through good, bad, and indifferent times. I praise You for helping me know that I can live above days like this. Help me to take command of my day and shake the evil from it.
Holy Spirit, You inspired the Psalmist to write: Be strong, and He will strengthen your heart, all you who wait for the Lord. [Psalm 31:24] Help me today to be strong, in my faith, in my hope, and in how I serve You. Let me truly be a living sacrifice for You so that I can know Your will. Help me to renew my mind with praise, testimonies, scriptures, and songs, so that I can be the living temple that is clean and usable for You to dwell in, speak through, prompt, and teach me. Help me to let Your light shine through me like a lighthouse so that I and my fellow brothers and sisters can walk uprightly through foggy, depressing days and be lifted in our spirits that You are in control.
I thank my God always concerning the grace of God which was given to me by Christ Jesus, that I am enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in me, so that I come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end, that I may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom I am called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. [1Corinthians 1:4-9]
