Heavenly Father I praise You for all the hard work Shannyn has done over the years. I praise You for the times that she worked with Peter Brooks and helped keep me up as I drove home from third shift work long ago. I praise You for her current ministry that she does and I praise You for her being an encourager to people each day as she speaks truth and love over the radio waves.
Holy Spirit I pray for a protective hedge to be placed around Shannyn to keep her from harm and evil. Encourage and bless her heart so that she can breathe out Your Spirit onto others over the airwaves. Bind from her discouragement, doubt, loneliness, depression and apathy. Loose onto her joy, peace of mind, courage, love and compassion. Holy Spirit help Shannyn to remember Your word when You said, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. We live by faith, not by sight. Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.” [2 Corinthians 4:17&18; 2 Corinthians 5:7; 2 Corinthians 7:1]
Grace and peace be multiplied to Shannyn through the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given to her all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of God who has called her to His own glory and excellence, by which He has given to Shannyn exceedingly great and precious promises, so that through these things she might become a partaker of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust. For this reason help her to make every effort to add virtue to my faith; and to my virtue, knowledge, and to my knowledge, self-control; and to my self-control, patient endurance; and to my patient endurance, godliness; and to my godliness, brotherly kindness; and to my brotherly kindness love. For if all of these reside in Shannyn and abound, they will ensure that she will neither be useless nor unfruitful in the knowledge of Jesus Christ my Lord. Help Shannyn to diligently make her calling and election sure so that when she adds all of these areas into her life she will not stumble and will be able to enter into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which will be abundantly provided for Shannyn.
