Heavenly Father I praise You for Family Life Radio and for Mike and his fellow workers in the morning. I praise You for their faithfulness to tell people about You, about hope, salvation and grace. I praise You for their honesty, humor and hosting so that people can be lifted up by testimonies of good news and music to help uplift the soul.
Holy Spirit I pray a hedge of protection over Mike and his family from evil and harm. I pray that Your Holy Spirit will breathe on his home today. I pray that You will give Mike and his Wife extra strength as they take care of a special needs child. Holy Spirit I pray You will richly bless Mike and his family today.
Holy Spirit I pray that as Mike walks and lives his journey with You that he will grow and become mighty in You. I also recognize Your word about people like Mike: For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge such men. [1Corinthians 16:18] I praise You for people like Mike who encourage the heart of others so that we can be obedient to: you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” [Romans 1:12; Romans 1:17]
Holy Spirit I pray that You will bless Mike’s ministry on the radio and that millions of people will listen in, find hope, grace, mercy and salvation from this morning program. Help encourage Mike’s heart that he is in the center of Your will. Help Mike to: to offer his body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You—for this is his spiritual act of worship. Help him to not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of his mind. Then he will be able to test and approve what Your will is—Your good, pleasing and perfect will.
But, Mike, remember the words that were previously spoken by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last days there will be scoffers who will walk after their own ungodly desires.” These are the men who cause divisions, sensual, devoid of the Spirit. But you, Mike and your crew, build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God while you are waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, which leads to eternal life. On some have compassion, using discernment. And others save with fear while pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment stained by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with rejoicing, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever.
