Heavenly Father I praise You for the life of my Granddaughter Hensley who turns four. I praise You for the special gift she is to our family. I praise You for all of Your creations and for blessing us with the opportunity of rearing child and assisting with our children’s children. Though I have experienced loss in my life with losing my son Philip, and the five we loss during pregnancies. I still offer up praise for I know some day I will get to see them again or for the first time.
Holy Spirit one of the greatest weapons I have against depression, discouragement is to praise and worship You. I praise You today for allowing me to get to know You these past 40 years since I gave my life to You. I praise You for being created with a purpose and with Your desire to have a relationship with me. I praise You daily as I enter Your throne room to bring petitions for different people, organizations and situations. I praise You for being my king and savior. I praise You for the beautiful wife I married and for how unique You made her. I praise You for not letting me live alone these past 32 years. I praise You for giving me the ability to sing and play harmonica so I can worship in song.
Holy Spirit I repeat the words of Psalms to You and thank You that I can rely on Your word to speak to me and for me, “Because I have loved You, therefore You will deliver me, You will set me securely on high, because I have known You name. I will call upon You, and You will answer me; You will be with me in trouble; You will rescue me, and honor me The righteous [like me] will flourish like a palm tree, I will grow like a cedar of Lebanon. O I sing unto the Lord a new song; I will sing unto the Lord, and so will all the earth! I sing unto the Lord, blessing His name; I declare Christ’s salvation from day to day. I proclaim Your glory among the nations, Your wonders among all peoples. For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. Thank You Heavenly Father for investing in me and allowing me to lead people in prayer and Your scriptures. Bless those who pray with me daily and for all the churches that I pray over daily. In Your precious name, Jesus, my Savior and Redeemer, Amen.
