Staying in My Lane

Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your word especially what You inspired David to write:
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the
way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in
the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. That person is
like a tree planted by streams of water, which yield its fruit in season and
whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers. Not so the wicked! They
are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in
the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord
watches over the way of the righteous but the way of the wicked leads to
destruction.” Holy Spirit, I am a student of Your word and I continually seek Your wisdom. In fact, I understand, that since I want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus I will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and be deceived. But as for me, I will continue in what I have learned and have become convinced of, because I know those from whom I have learned it from, and how infancy I have learned to know the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make me wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

HolySpirit help me with the words I use, the thoughts I have and the choices and
actions I take in life be honoring to be honoring to You. Help me to divide
Your word with an appetite worthy of prayer warrior and teacher. Help me to
seek the promises You have made and present that back in prayers to remind You
and me of what is true and where my faith needs to believe. Let me pray Your word so others can join in faith with me to see our families, communities and churches changed to the point they glorify You and bring Your kingdom here to our place on the
earth. Help me to pray in a way that the world around me sees that You still heal people, You still do miracles, You still do miraculous things. Help them to see that it is all You and not me. HolySpirit I continue to pray for the healing of my friend Jim who had cancer, Kayla, who is a young woman and needs her liver fully healed. I pray for Your presence in Kentucky, helping all those who have lost so much from the current flooding. Help the family that lost all four children in the flood. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ to be wiser in what they say, how they face our current government and all the nonsense that is trying to divide us and our country. Help us to emulate the Beatitudes and to walk as Christ did worrying more about people's souls than their current status.

The end of all things is near. Therefore, be clear-minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various
forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever, Amen.
