Heavenly Father, I praise You today for being one of the few stabilizing parts of my life. I praise You for walking with me through some extremely difficult times in my life. I praise You for giving me wisdom and discernment just when I need it the most and for trusting me to represent You here on the earth.
Christ told us: Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. [Matthew 19:26] We are reminded of this throughout the word of God. We see this in the testimonies of people who lived before us and even in our time: God does what we believe to be impossible. I cry out today, asking once again to see You do the impossible in my life with a situation that only You can change. I ask those who pray with me to be unified in believing You can, and if it is part of Your will, You will do this impossible thing for me. I put my faith in You. I need help with my faith to be patient and to stand no matter the outcome.
Let me continually offer the sacrifice of praise to You, oh God, that is, the fruit of my lips, giving thanks to Your name. Help me not to forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices You are well pleased. I will do my best to obey those who rule over me, and be submissive, for they watch out for my soul, and they will give account for how they lead. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for me. For I am confident that I have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. But I especially am urged to do this. Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make me complete in every good work to do His will, working in me what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:14-21)
