Heavenly Father I praise You for being a gracious Father who hears us when we cry out to You. I praise You for sending Christ to not only open the way for salvation but setting the standard on how we should live our lives. I praise You for the Holy Spirit who brings us messages from heaven and comforts and push us to be living sacrifices daily.
Holy Spirit I come to the throne room today to petition for mercy from Christ for healing. I bring Neil before You, who has COVID and is in the hospital in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He has only 10% usage of his lungs and has had some blood clots. The doctors have said that short of a miracle he will not survive. I come with others in agreement to ask that miracle will come from You. I also ask for healing for his wife Linda who has COVID but not as severe as Neil has it. They just celebrated 35 years of marriage and now they cannot be together. I also ask for healing for their daughter Melissa who was the first in the family to get the COVID and is with her mom, Linda, right now. I know that when we join in prayer and You are there with us that nothing is impossible for YOU to accomplish.
Holy Spirit I also bring a petition for healing for Trinity the little girl that we prayed for in the past who got a heart transplant. Because of the medications she has had to take she now has cancer through her body. The doctors are planning to give her medicine (probably chemo) to fight and destroy the cancer but she is very young and weak. Plus she has a transplanted heart so she needs the touch of Your hand to survive. I also ask for comfort for her family who have had to struggle with all of this in the last year.
Holy Spirit I continue to petition for healing for my parents Phil and Janet and my brother’s family, David, Sarah, Elizabeth, Matthew, Lilly, Timothy, Ethan, Steven, Seth, Caleb, Charity, Samuel and the baby. They have been exposed to COVID and some have already tested positive. They all need Your healing touch. Plus half of the church where David preaches at has come down with the COVID and many are older and vulnerable so we ask for healing for them also.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. (2Corinthians 1:3-7) Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Galatians 1:3-5)
