Heavenly Father I praise You for the opportunity Christ gave us of being born again. I praise You that I can join my Spirit to Yours until the day I join You in heaven. I praise You for the wisdom that I am far from perfect or knowledgeable but I am to strive to gain both as I walk this life. I praise You for seeking me when I was not seeking You.
Holy Spirit help me to let Your words sink in and give me the realization that being born again meant that I am now as Paul wrote to the Corinthians that we have designated as chapter 6 verses 17: “But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.” My Spiritual rebirth connected me to Your family and Your Spirit. Help me to grow in my Spirit so that it is in harmony with Your Spirit. Help me to take it a step farther with what John wrote’ “I have written these things to you concerning those who deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. For as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and just as it has taught you, remain in Him.” [1John 2:26&27]
Holy Spirit in these days when the world presents so many different false truths and lies and offers only hate, pride and emptiness with no hope, help me to live my life with the anointing of Yours on my life that You are the truth, the way and life. Help to always live with the burning Hope that is embedded in my heart and to seek Your wisdom from Your word and from Your Spirit for even James told us that wisdom comes from Your Spirit. Help me to pick up the mantle of the first church leaders and members recorded in Acts and be filled with Your Holy Spirit so that I can testify of Your salvation, forgiveness, mercy, grace and healing. Help me be a beacon to the world no matter what job I do or who I meet or where I travel. Help me to always be reassured by the anointing that is within me that links me to Your Spirit no matter the trials, valleys or mountains I have to climb to journey until either I lay to rest or You come back to claim us all. Help me to live faithfully with the wisdom and knowledge YOU bestow on me so that I can live out my purpose that You created me for and be the living sacrifice I need to be so that I will always be the faithful servant that is the apple of Your eye.
I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. [1Corinthians 1:4-9]
