Heavenly Father I praise You for the love You have shown in making us and specifically me. I praise You for creating each one of us with a purpose and supplying us with talents and ministries to be active participants in building Your kingdom. I praise You for faith and hope for they are the two bedrocks on which I must stand on, anchor my life with to finish my race.
Holy Spirit Your word says: “God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God and God remains in him. In this, love is made complete with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because as he is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So, the one who fears is not complete in love. We love because He first loved us.” [1 John 4:16b-19] Holy Spirit A. W. Tozer once said, “Because God is self-existent, His love has no beginning; because He is eternal, His love can have no end; because He is infinite, it has no limit.”
I will remain in You because of love and I will hope and put my faith in You because of love. I realize there is no measure that could even equate to Your love for me. I will live my life to the fullest with Your love. I will live sacrificially all my remaining life here on the earth so that I honor You and the love You have shown me. Help me to learn to pour out Your love onto others so that they may learn hope, salvation, and how to love.
And this is my prayer: that our love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that we may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11
