Holy Spirit You said, “The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, will give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of my heart may be enlightened so that I may know the hope to which he has called me, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards me for I believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” [Ephesians 1:17-23] From this I know I am victorious as long as I choose to remain in Christ. My authority only comes through Him and when I am humble enough and confident enough to let His Spirit work through me to conquer the flesh, sin, Satan’s fiery arrows. Help me to always live as a living sacrifice so that I can know and do Your will and help me to renew my mind with only stuff that will help me fulfill my purpose and use my talents wisely.
I pray and ask that I may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that I may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. You have delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed me into the kingdom of the Son of Your love, in whom I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. You are the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by You, all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through You for You. And You are before all things, and in You, all things exist. And You are the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things You may have the preeminence. In Your blessed Son Jesus’ name, Amen.
