Heavenly Father I praise You for tweaking the nose of doubters and skeptics when the book of Isaiah was found almost complete in the dead sea scrolls and carbon dated to 550 BC to 135BC so that it verified You are a God who knows the future. I praise You for the prophesies that would verify Jesus as the Messiah. I praise You for the faithful example Isaiah himself was. I praise You for knowing everything about us yet giving us free will to choose so that our relationship is based on love, trust, faith, and belief not rules, regulations, and boxes to check.
Holy Spirit I am glad You reminded me of Isaiah’s prophesy from God that reads, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through waters, I will be with you. And through rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame kindle on you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, Your Savior…Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honorable, and I have loved you; therefore, I will give men for you, and people for your life. Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up' and to the south, ‘Do not keep them back'. Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth, even everyone who is called by My name, for I have created him for My glory; I have formed him, and I have made him.’” In 1948 this prophesy was fulfilled and is still being fulfilled today. [Isaiah 43:2-7] Nothing is impossible for God.
Holy Spirit Paul warned the Ephesians and all of us in the future of what to expect and how to live. Help me to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Teach me how to put on the whole armor of God so that I may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For my fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places. Therefore, I will take up the whole armor of God that I may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. [Ephesians 6:10-13] Holy Spirit help me to continue to search the scriptures and seek out the prophesies yet to come so I can be encouraged that You reign. Let me be a spiritual warrior who is not afraid and will stand and face all the battles that come my way and fight with the weapons You have taught me to wield, like love, your word, wisdom, discernment, truth, and grace. Let me lean completely on Your power to be strong and a victor. For I understand that the battle is Yours and the Victory has already been won by You but that I must stand strong until the end. Help me to support my fellow warriors in this fight for the salvation of mankind until we breathe our last.
The end of all things is near. Therefore, be clear-minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever.
