Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have worked salvation for Him. The Lord has made his salvation known and revealed His righteousness to the nations. Heavenly Father I do sing a new song to You and praise You this morning for the life and the word You breathe into me so that I can walk daily in the spirit and in Your wisdom. I praise You for the gifts You have given me and the gifts You have given different people in the body of Christ so that as a whole we can not only spread the good news but start building Your kingdom here on earth. I praise You that I do not have to go to a temple and present a sacrifice to know Your salvation but that Your Spirit lives within me and that I am Your living temple as an adopted son. Help me to live my life like Daniel and always determine not to defile myself with what the world has to offer.
Holy Spirit I pray today for the Youth for Christ in the Thumb region of Michigan especially in Millington. I pray that You put a hedge of protection around Alyssa and Joe as well as the Thumb leaders, and keep them from harm and evil. I ask that You bind frustration, depression, and anxiety from them. I ask that You loose onto them joy, discernment, wisdom and knowledge as they seek guidance on how to meet the needs of their community with all of the restrictions, guidelines and hysteria going on from this Covid epidemic. Help this team of leaders, especially Alyssa and Joe with navigating difficult choices, give them wisdom, grace and peace of mind. I ask that You bestow on them strength and courage to face and handle difficult circumstances while seeking to still be relevant and fruitful in their mission of connecting, serving and giving hope through Jesus to their community. Your word tells us in James that if we ask for wisdom You will give it liberally to us. Alyssa and Joe are seeking this wisdom and they desire to follow Your will while living out a faith that trusts in You to show the way.
Heavenly Father I also bring Family Life a part of Cru before You and ask that You give them wisdom and guidance right now as they try to help restore and build families and relationships all around the United States. Help this organization and especially my friends, Jordan and Bri, who are working hard to help families while navigating all the different states and their rules. Bless Jordan and Bri and help their family and lead them to be effective speakers, workers and examples for others so that their ministry can be honoring to You.
Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith—to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever, Amen.
