Learning to Walk in the Spirit

Heavenly Father I praise You for the wisdom we can gain from the Bible.  I praise You for not condemning me because I have not only accepted the gift of salvation and the entrance of Christ into my life, but as Your word says in Romans 8 that I walk in the Spirit because the Spirit resides in me.  Help me to not only live my life according to the Spirit but to keep my mind, body and soul focused on the things of the Spirit so that I will walk daily in Your righteousness. I praise You that through Christ I am a conqueror over my own sinful desires and that I now have freedom to live life the way I was created because I have been made new.

Holy Spirit help me to focus and meditate on things that are true, things that are pure, things that are just, things that are pure, things that are lovely, things that are of good report, help me to see the virtue of these and give praise daily for them. (Philippians 4:8 MEV)

Holy Spirit lead me today, and help me to consider the sufferings of this present time to not be as worthy as the glory which shall be revealed to me. Let me have an eager expectation of the creation which waits for the appearance of the sons of God.  I have learned that creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of God. (Romans 8:18-21 MEV)

I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present nor things to come, neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior, Amen. (Romans 8:38&39 MEV)
