Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your creation, for being the creator, and for how You created me. I praise You for the seasons both in weather and in life. I praise You for the wisdom to know that I am fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image and that I am now an adopted child into Your family. Let me see the light from Your lamp for my feet so that I walk my chosen path without stumbling and with confidence in obeying Your will for my life.
Holy Spirit, help me to be successful in fulfilling the scripture that records the words of Jesus: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. [John 13:34&35; John 14:12-14]
But, beloved, remember the words that were previously spoken by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last days there will be scoffers who will walk after their own ungodly desires.” These are the men who cause divisions, sensual, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God while you are waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, which leads to eternal life. Some have compassion, using discernment. And others save with fear while pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment stained by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with rejoicing, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever.
