Heavenly Father I praise You for the opportunity I had to go speak at Green Country Church which is where I got my foundation and beginning. I praise You for the opportunity to pray over churches and pastors. I praise You for the knowledge of being a pastor’s son and grandson that I understand the pressure they are under. I understand that one of my missions in life has been to support, pray for, and fill in for pastor’s so that these ordinary men and women can maintain their own faith in You.
Holy Spirit Your word says and Jesus would reiterate this, Isaiah 56:7&8—For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations. The Lord God, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, “Yet I will gather to him others besides those who are gathered to him.” It also says what Paul wrote to the Ephesians 3:12—In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. So with this confidence and so many praying with me I pray for the following churches: Holy Spirit I pray today that You will pour out Your anointing onto Williamston FMC, New Covenant FMC, Central FMC, Calvary FM Haitian church, Owosso FMC, Ogemaw Hills FMC, Mayville FMC, Lapeer FMC, Davison FMC, Mt. Morris FMC, Waypoint FMC, Bad Axe FMC, Durand FMC, Wheeler FMC, Westwood Heights FMC, Green Oak FMC, Midland FMC, Standish FMC, Saginaw FMC, Racy FMC, Linden FMC, Grayling FMC, Cornerstone FMC, Countryside FMC, Living Grace Community Fellowship, Living Promise FMC, Pleasant Valley FMC, Oxford FMC, Gladwin FMC, Blue Water FMC, Alpena FMC, Memphis FMC, Covenant Hills Camp, Bethel Park, Porter FMC, Dansville FMC, Wolverine FMC, and Benchmark FMC. Holy Spirit we ask that You will bless these churches to start to go out into their communities and spread the good news while working as true laborers honoring You with not only their work habits, but their lives being a living testimony. Help them to demonstrate Your love, grace and salvation while they live, struggle and enjoy the life You have given them so that the world can see we are not perfect but forgiven and that Your strength is made strong through our weakness. Holy Spirit put boldness in the hearts of these congregations to proclaim You at every opportunity. Help all of these churches to become true houses of prayer and help us to be united in spirit and in mind to the point that Your Spirit shakes the building, the people and the community. Help us to expect You through faith to move the mountains before us and to open the way to salvation so that Your kingdom comes here on earth as it is in heaven.
Holy Spirit we continue to lift up to You Sherwood Free Methodist, Green Country Church, Roswell Church of God, Vassar Victory Center Church, Millington Nazarene, Radiant Church, Valley Creek Church, Edgett’s Wesleyan church, Radical Impact Ministries, Big Rapids Salvation Army Corps, Lenoir City First Church of the Nazarene, Fairfax Church of Christ, Calvary Free Methodist Haitian Church, Trinity Fellowship of Big Rapids and Newaygo, Light and Life Free Methodist in Lakeland, Florida, Compassionate Life, El Shaddi the Orphanage and the Church there in Eswatini. We pray for Pastor Rami who has been starting churches and schools in Jordan and has been teaching people to be pastors in homes and small buildings. We pray for his safety, his strength and for You to continue to open doors for him to demonstrate Your love and hope for the people and refugees in Jordan. We pray for Hyatham who is finding and instructing new young men and women to do home ministries in Jordan, Iraq, and even Iran. We pray that You will not only bless and protect him but give him discernment in picking the right people to choose for leadership. We also pray for Honi as he administers help to the women and children left in the wake of ISIS in Iraq and Syria, help him continue to bring the hope of Your salvation, grace, love and mercy to these very hurt and broken people. Holy Spirit we ask that You would bless the ministries connected to these churches such as West Michigan Prayer Center in Kentwood, Homes for Hope, Celebrate Recovery, Set Free Movement, Covenant Hearts, Prime Timers, Foster Closet, Youth for Christ in Millington and the Thumb Region, Inner Varsity at Michigan Technological University, Haitian Mission Fund, Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Alma College, Parker Street Ministries, the Iris Centers in Africa and Asia, Family Life Ministries through Cru based in Orlando, Florida, and Braking Cycles in Oregon. For the Youth for Christ in Alma and Mt. Pleasant. Help these various churches and ministries continue to have impact on communities all over the world and be a blessing as they continue to build Your kingdom. Help me and the people who choose to pray with me to always keep all these ministries as a central focus of our prayers.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen. 1Peter 5:6-11
