Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. [Matthew 6:9-13]
The Apostle John wrote to the churches: For whoever is born of God overcomes the world, and the victory that overcomes the world is our faith. [1 John 5:4] Let my faith be strong enough to overcome the pressures, the attacks, the threats, and Satan’s fiery darts each day. Let me put on my spiritual armor, stand strong, and seek courage from You, as Joshua did. Help me to be as bold as Caleb to believe that nothing is impossible for You to do in my life.
Holy Spirit, help me through this day, especially [March 25th], because it is the day I lost Philip. This day of all days is the hardest to face. Help me to stand strong and believe I will see him again in heaven someday. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
