You, O Lord, are my shepherd; I shall not want. “You shall have no other gods before me.” But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. [Exodus 20:3, MEV; Matthew 6:33; Matthew 22:37(CSB)] God, His will, His Spirit should always be the number one thing in our life, how we live and where our
focus is. Help me to make God my number one priority in life, my wife, my family, and then my responsibilities in ordered procession of how I do life. Let me listen to the Holy Spirit whether through promptings or verbally, to discern the steps that are before me on the path I am to walk. Let me die out to self completely and not let this world crowd me or distract me from my purpose in life.
So, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of my understanding being enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward me because I believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head
over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. For by grace, I have been saved through faith, and that not of myself; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest I should boast.
