This is a day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it. I recognize who has created me and that I am made with a purpose not just a random set of circumstances. I praise the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for all of the many dynamic parts that make up who I am. [Psa. 118:24]
Holy Spirit Your word breathes out on us telling us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the men of old obtained a good report. By faith we understand that the universe was framed by the word of God, so that things that are seen were not made out of things which are visible.” [Hebrews 11:1&2] Let my faith be in the now so that I can fully enjoy the victory that was already won. Let my faith be complete and trusting so that I can see all that God has for me in the now. I realize this does not mean I will see worldly success or smooth sailing in life but a realization that this is not my home nor is this the only part of what will be my life. For Your word also tells me, “And I heard a loud voice from heaven, saying, ‘Look! The tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them. They shall be His people and God Himself will be with them and be their God. God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. There shall be no more death. Neither shall there be any more sorrow nor crying nor pain, for the former things have passed away.’” [Revelations 21:3-5]
Holy Spirit I continue to pray for healing for Baby Honesty but now I add Baby Evelyn who desperately needs a miracle of healing to survive. I pray for comfort for Evelyn’s parents Leo and Hannah. We pray that Your mighty hand will touch this baby and heal her so she can live a life of testimony to such a dark and unbelieving world.
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. For we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. But I especially urge you to do this, ….Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:14-21)
