Heavenly Father I praise You today for Your faithfulness, for being my father, and for being my creator. I praise You for giving me and everyone else a purpose for our lives. I praise You for the allowing a way for us to reconnect to You in a constant relationship.
Holy Spirit Paul wrote a letter to the Colossians which is now an accepted part of our Bible. He wrote, “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you and ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing to all being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, enduring everything perseverance and patience joyfully, giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled us to be partakers in the inheritance of the saints in light.” [Colossians 1:9-12] Help me to pray without ceasing for the people who need to be covered by my prayers, so that I can be filled with all that You will and intend for me to demonstrate my faith. Help me to be as strong and courageous as I can when I kneel in humility before the throne of Jesus. Let my petitions be heard because they align with Your will and with Your heart. Let my faith demonstrate the fruit of my beliefs so that others can learn the hope that is within me. Help me to stretch my faith so that I can be like the church back at the time of this letter sent to Colossus, so that people can witness, miracles, signs and wonders. Help me to pray in the power and assurance that I pray with Your will in mind and that I am fully accepting of what Your will, desire and love is for others and myself.
Holy Spirit watch over my Brother and his Wife as they face the reality of a second pregnancy that ended to soon. Hold them and comfort them right now. Help them to continue to believe that You still love them and care for them and that life must continue to move forward. Let them find comfort that their child is in the arms our grandparents and my sister and son, in heaven. Holy Spirit help them to not lose their joy.
Grace and peace be multiplied to me and others who pray with me through the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given to me all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of God who has called me to His own glory and excellence, by which He has given to me exceedingly great and precious promises, so that through these things I might become a partaker of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust. For this reason help me to make every effort to add virtue to my faith; and to my virtue, knowledge, and to my knowledge, self-control; and to my self-control, patient endurance; and to my patient endurance, godliness; and to my godliness, brotherly kindness; and to my brotherly kindness love. For if all of these reside in me and abound, they will ensure that I will neither be useless nor unfruitful in the knowledge of Jesus Christ my Lord. Help me to diligently make my calling and election sure so that when I add all of these areas into my life I will not stumble and will be able to enter into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which will be abundantly provided for me.
