In You, Lord, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in Your righteousness. Turn Your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. Since You are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of Your name lead and guide me. Keep me free from the trap that is set for me, for You are my refuge. Into Your hands I commit my spirit; deliver me, Lord, my faithful God. I hate those who cling to worthless idols; as for me, I trust in the Lord. I will be glad and rejoice in Your love, for You saw my affliction and know the anguish of my soul. You have not given me into the hands of the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place. Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and body with grief. My life is consumed by anguish and my years by groaning; my strength fails because of my affliction and my bones grow week…But I trust in You, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. Let Your face shine on Your servant; save me in Your unfailing love. Let me not be put to shame, Lord, for I have cried out to You; but let the wicked be put to shame and be silent in the realm of the dead. Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous. How abundant are the good things that You have stored up for those who fear You, that You bestow in the sight of all on those who take refuge in You. In the shelter of Your presence You hide them from all human intrigues; You keep them safe in Your dwelling from accusing tongues. Praise be to the Lord, for he showed me the wonders of His love when I was in a city under siege. In my alarm I said, “I am cut off from Your sight!” Yet You heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help. Love the Lord, all his faithful people! The Lord preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. (Psa. 32:1-10,14-24)
Heavenly Father let me come to You, for I am weak and burdened, so that You can give me rest. Let me take Your yoke and learn from You, for You are gentle and humble in heart, and I will find rest for my soul. All because Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30) Lord let the moon shine like the sun, and the sunlight be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days. As you bind up the bruises of Your people and heal the wounds of infliction. (Isaiah 30:26)
Holy Spirit I continue to lift Eileen, Kara and Trinity before You they are all in need of healing. I also lift up Doloris, Nathanial and their family before You today. Holy Spirit I ask that You would bless Louise, Butch and Terry and many others who have given me friendship over the years.
Holy Spirit help me to Love the Lord my God with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my mind and with all my strength. (Mark 12:30) Help me to take heed, watch and pray; for I do not know when the time is. (Mark 13:33) Help me to remember Christ’s words when He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in a new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. (Mark 16:15-18)
Now to Him who is able to establish you according to the gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith—to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever, Amen. (Romans16:25-27)
