Glory to God in the highest, for He reigns eternal. Heavenly Father I praise You for not only leading me through the Holy Spirit but for taking care of me and the needs of my family. I praise You above all names, people, things and this world. I praise You for knowing me so well, You know the count of the hairs on my head.
Holy Spirit I praise You for inspiring me to go to the bank yesterday and catching the theft through fraud made to our account. I praise You that we will get our money back and be able to pay our bills. Even though this will cause some inconvenience for a short period of time, it could have been much worse.
Holy Spirit Your word tells us, “Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you
by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and Your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” [Luke 12:22-31]
Holy Spirit You care enough about us to walk with us each day, share our thoughts, inspire us to be righteous in our actions and words, teach us wisdom and to fill us with power when needed to face any and all trouble. You comfort us in our grief, low times, during depression, and when all seems lost. You hold us when we feel alone, lost, heartbroken or confused. You emboldened us when we
need to take a stand, speak of Your love or testify of our salvation. You anoint us when we pray and when we are sick. As Paul once said, I am nothing without Christ who lives with in me. Let me find my true identity in the salvation, sanctification and glory of being Your child and creation.
I thank my God always. For the grace of God which was given to me by Christ Jesus, that I will be enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in me, so that I come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end, that I may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom I was and am called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. [1Corinthians 1:4-9]g
