Beginning to End

Heavenly Father I praise You for creating us, for understanding us enough that You made a way to get back to what You created us for. This prayer is my Psalm to You. I praise You for knowing me even before I was created or born.

Holy Spirit, Your word says, “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.” [Genesis 1:31] Then we, screwed it up by allowing Satan, the fallen Angel full of pride and lies, to convince us we could not trust You and brought sin into this creation. That started the clock to the world’s destruction and death entered the scene. We were removed from the garden and would from that day forward have a war with our sinful, prideful, lustful, greed full, hateful, destructive nature against what God’s will for us is.

Holy Spirit we then learn in Your word, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” [John 3:16-21]

Holy Spirit we now know that if we stay faithful to You until the end believing and accepting of Your salvation, not choosing to walk away at any point from this gift You have offered, that we will, “See, a new heaven and earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. We will see the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And we will hear a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s

dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.” He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things will have passed away.” [Revelations 21:1-4] Let our hearts believe and Trust that Your word is true and to live our lives serving the purpose of our creation so that we can one day stand before You, knowing that our names are written in the Book of life and we will no longer have to fight sin, death, and feel so much loss.

Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. For we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. But I especially urge you to do this, …. Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:14-21)
