Heavenly Father I praise You for what Paul wrote to the Galatians when he said, “For freedom Christ freed us. Stand fast therefore and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage…You have been called to liberty. Only do not use Liberty to give an opportunity to the flesh, but by love serve one another.” Help me to continue to enjoy my liberty without returning to the flesh so that I can as Paul says, “walk in the Spirit , and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. These are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” I praise You for not being under the law.
Holy Spirit I am free so that I can worship You in my heart and speak to You daily. I am free to be Your living temple so You can dwell in me. I am free so that I can allow You to freely speak through me to others and to use me for Your purpose and for what I was created to be. I am free that I do not fear hell. I am free because I do not fear what others think of me only what You think of me and You can see my heart. I am free because my sins are washed away and my accuser cannot use that against me anymore. I am free because I am not alone in this world, nor am I the only one to face the trials of life.
Holy Spirit help me to learn to truly walk in the spirit and deny the lust of the flesh in my mind, heart and body. Help me to truly live my life as a spiritually free person who daily gives my life as a living sacrifice to You so that I can enjoy my freedom without regret or guilt. I praise You always, Amen.
