I thank my God always concerning the grace of God which was given to me by Christ Jesus, that I am enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in me, so that I come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end, that I may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom I am called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. [1Corinthians 1:4-9]
I will keep rejoicing in hope, be patient in tribulation, I need to continue steadfastly in prayer; contribute to the needs of the saints, and practice hospitality. Rejoicing always, praying without ceasing, in everything giving thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for me. I will not quench the Spirit. I will not despise prophecies. I will wisely and with discerning of the Holy Spirit helping me test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. [Romans 12:12&13; 1Thessalonians 5:16-22] For I seek to pray with authority, faith, hope and with desperation of how short time is. Let me be faithful to pray for intercession, pray for the sick, pray for the hurting, pray for the lonely and the lost, and pray for encouragement to my brothers and sisters of my church.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Holy Spirit, help us to bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances we may have against one another. Teach us to forgive as the Lord forgave us. And over all these virtues help us to put on love which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, since as members of one body we are called to peace. Let us be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly as we teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in our hearts to God. And whatever we do, whether in word or deed, help us to do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Amen. [Colossians 3:12-17]
