Heavenly Father I praise You for being the Creator and for the creations You have made. I praise You for being one of Your creations made with a purpose to be a server in Your kingdom. I praise You that even as man let sin join into this world You had a redemptive plan to bring us back in the fold. I praise You for all the prophecies that would show us that Jesus would be, was and is the messiah. That his death on the cross would open a road for all people through Abraham. His resurrection would restore hope and power over death. His ascension would give us a future to look forward to. His seating on the Your right hand would not only give us an advocate but a true high priest who prays over us daily.
Holy Spirit I praise You for my foundation of faith built from an early age. Learning that there is Power In the Blood, Jesus loves Me, All Hail the Power of Jesus Name. Help me to always pray through You to enter the throne room as the author of Hebrews wrote: 4:16—Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Let my petitions be known. I pray for the churches in Michigan to begin to be houses of prayer. To be leaders in hospitality, relying on the example of Jesus. To be promoters of justice, life, hope and most of all love. I pray that we learn to quit being judges and start being workers in the field reaping the harvest. Help us to be more concern about Christ’s reputation instead of our own. Help us to be the lead in being hard workers not people who hardly work. Help us to be people who are known for our love, for our faith and for our prayers. I pray that I learn to pray with power.
Holy Spirit help me to petition Jesus to join my church in unity seeking a new Pastor for the Millington Church of God as our current Pastor gets ready to retire. I join in unity seeking a pastor who will bring change to our community, continue to feed the congregation but to also equip and send the congregation out into the community to build Your kingdom.
Holy Spirit I seek for a new strength, power and love to flow through the Free Methodist Churches of Lansing, Clarkston, Gladwin and Ogemaw Heights. I pray that You inspire, empower, and give a new vision that catches the pastors of these churches with a Holy Fire that will burn in their hearts and breathe Your Spirit out onto their communities. I pray that You will bring in a new Superintendent into the East Michigan Free Methodist Conference that will continue to move this conference to the front lines in Michigan to win Michigan over to being a state that fully serves You. I pray that this conference will learn to have a faith like Caleb and go out in Jesus’ name.
I pray today in Jesus’ name, to cleanse my heart, to empower my heart and to lead my heart. I pray in Jesus’ name to heal members of my family and my church family. I pray in Jesus’ name that my website will grow to bring people in to pray in unity, to pray in Power and to pray with sincerity. I pray this website grows so that people feel comfortable to give requests for prayer. That this little website will become like a mustard seed and grow to be a tree that gives life, gives hope, gives strength and stands true. I pray in Jesus’ name that we begin to pray together to see families healed, hope restored, people changed, evil pushed back. I pray for power and protection through Jesus’ name for all those who pray with me for they will be attacked, they will be oppressed, they will be tested, but once they come through the fire they will be refined and powerful. I pray in Jesus’ name that we push the gates of hell out of Michigan. I pray that we make such a change that the rest of the country takes notice.
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
