Heavenly Father I praise You for fearfully and wonderfully making me and for leading me to be the person I am today. I praise You that through trials, tribulations, good times, special times, and top-of-the-mountain times, You have honed me into the purpose I was created for and who I am to be within the body of Christ.
Holy Spirit John the Baptist said, “I am the voice of the one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the Lord, “ as the prophet Isaiah said.” Paul claimed to be the chief of sinners. Moses claimed he was not eloquent. Ruth said she was a foreigner, Nehemiah claimed he was doing great work and Jesus said, “I am the door, the light, the bread, the good shepherd. “ [John 1:23; 1 Timothy 1:15; Exodus 4:10; Ruth 2:10; Nehemiah 6:3; John 10:9, 8:12, 6:35, 10:14]
I am a teacher of prayer, a leader of the heartbroken and accountability partner to my friends. I am exactly what Jesus wants me to be through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Most of all I am redeemed because of the forgiveness and salvation from Christ.
Let me continually offer the sacrifice of praise to You, oh God, that is, the fruit of my lips, giving thanks to Your name. Help me to not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices You are well pleased. I will do my best to obey those who rule over me and be submissive for they watch out for my soul, and they will give account for how they lead. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for me. For I am confident that I have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. But I especially am urged to do this. Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make me complete in every good work to do His will, working in me what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:14-21)
