How I Represent Myself Before God

Heavenly Father I praise You for every lesson, day by day that helps make me into the person You created me to be. I praise You for the salvation that Jesus Christ paid for on my behalf and the mercy lent to me as a sinner. I praise You for Your Spirit that dwells in this living temple guiding, pushing, leading, and giving me wisdom to grow and be righteous.

Holy Spirit Your word says, “… in view of God’s mercy, I will offer my body as living a sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is my spiritual act of worship. I do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but I am constantly being transformed by the renewing of my mind with the help of the Holy Spirit.  So I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will. [Romans 12:1&2] Help me to engraft these verses into the very core of my heart so that I am pressed, shaken, and molded into the person You desire of me. Help me to trust what You are doing and leading in my life so that I can truly find joy, peace, love, peace of mind, contentment, and energy to enjoy the life I was meant to live.

Let my love be sincere. Help me to hate what is evil; cling to what is good. I will be devoted to others in brotherly love. Teach me to honor others above myself. I should never be lacking in zeal, but keep my spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. I am joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. I will share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Let this be so and true in my life until I reach heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen. [Romans 12:9-13, 12:15]
