How Do I View My Time

Heavenly Father I give You all the glory, praise, and love of my heart. I come today before Your throne and request You help me take command of my morning and my day. Help me to honor You and Your kingdom all of my day and to be completely focused with my heart, mind, and soul on Your will and following Your principles. I know I will never grasp Your thoughts but I can learn to understand and be in the center of Your will and focused on Your heart.

Holy Spirit You inspired Paul to write to Ephesians 5: 15-17—See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Help me to walk circumspectly every day as I lay my life down as a living sacrifice to You so that I can know the will of God for my life during this day. Help me to renew my mind so that my focus and thoughts are clear and righteous. Let the joy deep in my heart produce living water from my heart and soul so that the words I speak, my ideas, and Your Spirit living and moving within me will breathe Your Spirit onto others by my words, actions, and character. I live each day to help bring Your kingdom down here as it is in heaven. I seek to be a person who will always give out the good news of salvation and the love, mercy, and grace that comes from Christ. Let me be a true person of the way, so all will know that Your salvation and love mark me.

Praise be to You, God, and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed me in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For You chose me before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in Your sight. In love, You predestined me to be adopted as Your son through Jesus, in accordance with His pleasure and will—to the praise of His glorious grace, which he has freely given me in the One He loves. In You, I have redemption through the blood of Christ, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Your grace that You lavished on me with all wisdom and understanding. And You are making known to me the mystery of Your will according to Your good pleasure, which You purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ. In You I was also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of God who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, so that I, who has the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory. And I also was included in Christ when I heard the word of truth, the gospel of my salvation. Having believed, I am marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing my inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. Amen. Ephesians 1:3-14
