Heavenly Father, I forgive all who have done offense against me offense. I seek to be fully in Your will and completely under Your wing, because You have forgiven my sins through Jesus Christ. I give You glory, honor, and praise daily, for You are God, my God. You are Creator, Provider, Savior, and most of all Friend. Help me today to take command of my morning and shake all the evil from it. Help me to be the umbrella and intercessor for my family to have salvation through You and to protect them today.
Holy Spirit, Your word tells me: It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear. You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night, my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. The Lord is on my side; I will
not fear. What can man do to me? “Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely, they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. [Isaiah 65:12; Psalms 10:17; Psalms 16:7&8; Psalms 18:2; Psalms 118:6; Isaiah 69:15&16]
Holy Spirit, from Your word I realize that I am fearfully and wonderfully created, and that You desire a relationship with me. You have had that desire since the days of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Enoch, to the days of when Christ came and lived among us, to the first Christians who would become the church after Christ ascended to the throne in heaven. You know my heart, my innermost desires, and Your Spirit dwells within me as a new and living temple. I am learning to lay down my life as a living sacrifice daily so that I can be completely consumed and used by You. I am learning to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. I continue to battle against temptation, sin, evil, and injustice. I am by far not perfect, but I still strive to be who you want
me to be. Thank you for knowing me more than I know myself. You are not only my Creator and Savior, but You are my friend. In You, I have placed my faith and trust, for I have nothing without You in my life. I praise You for honoring me to be a husband, father, grandfather, and a leader. Help me to walk in righteousness so that I can fulfill my responsibilities and represent You.
Let the words I speak, the thoughts I have, and the desires that are deep within me all be honoring to You. Help me to dwell on what is right and true so that I do not lose focus or sight of my ultimate goal to be with You in eternity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
