Glorifying God in Heaven

“Praise be to the name of God forever; wisdom and power are His. He changes times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him. I thank and praise You, O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and power, and you have made known to me what I need to ask of You. [Daniel 2:20-23]

Holy Spirit I will let my light so shine before people that they may see your good works and glorify God in heaven. I will watch, stand fast in my faith, be bold like men, and be strong. I will continue to humble myself under God's mighty hand, so He can exalt me in due time. I understand that a man’s heart devises his way, but that You, O Lord, direct my steps. Therefore, I will live my life as an imitator of God as one of his beloved children. I know that You are my pillar, my fortress, my deliverer, and my rock in whom I take refuge; You are my shield, the horn of

my salvation, and my high tower to run to in life. So I will glorify and testify of who You are to me and who You are for others to get to know. [Matthew 5:16; 1 Corinthians 16:13; 1 Peter 5:6; Proverbs 16:9; Psalm 18:2]

I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night, my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. Amen. [Psalm 16:7-11(NLT)]
