Feeling Alive and Shaken by Your Spirit

Heavenly Father, I praise You today for the church family I have now. I praise You for allowing me to participate in the worship team. I praise You for the current series of hearing testimonies from the Old Testament that mirror the old tales from Sunday School. Help me today to take command of my day and shake the evil from it.

Your word tells us that the early Christians, “when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled was shaken. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.” [Acts 4:31, MEV] There have been a few recent outbreaks of Your Spirit working on College Campuses and Churches. We have seen in our history times when Your Spirit fell, and people in a whole community were completely transformed. Help my church to learn to pray together and in unity so that we can see You move in our community in such a way that people will know only because of You could this occur. Let us be shaken deeply and with great joy.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one

another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to my Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it. And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.” Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this, My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. Let this be so with us. Amen. [John 13:34&35; John 14:12-14; John 14:16-17; John 14:27; John 15:7&8]
