“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God [El Emunah],
keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him
and keep His commandments.” [Deuteronomy 7:9, NIV] I praise You El Emunah for
being faithful to Your promises and word. I praise You for the
faithfulness of protecting me for 20 years while working in three different
state prisons.
Holy Spirit I need help remembering to praise El Emunah for all of my life. How he has blessed my parents and helped us always to have food to eat, a place to live, and a church to worship in. I praise You for the wife You have given me and for my children and grandchildren. I praise You for the faithfulness to help us get a house 24 years ago and for the miracle birth of my son Philip. I praise You for allowing the Holy Spirit to work within my life and to comfort me through trials and loss.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties, and see if there
is any wicked way in me. And lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23&24) I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You from those who rise against them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings. (Amen) (Psalms 17:6-8)
