Doing Good

Heavenly Father, I give You praise for Your word and how it guides me, comforts me, and gives me wisdom to lean on. I praise You for teaching me how to navigate being not only a leader at my job but also how to maintain my relationship with You and be a representative of You.

Holy Spirit, You inspired Paul to write: Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up. [Galatians 6:9, MEV] Help me to do good, at work, at home, and in all my travels on this earth. Help me to seek wisdom and discernment so that I can demonstrate my understanding of doing Your will daily in all that I do. Give me discernment today as I navigate talking to my superiors at work and try to find a resolution to how we can work together to solve some difficulties we are facing.

For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen me with power through His Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith. And I pray that I, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that I may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to Him who can do immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within me, to Him be glory, Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21
