Heavenly Father, I give You glory and honor and praise Your name above all names. I give You praise for life, for my life, and for the lives You have sent across the path of my journey here on the earth. I praise You for my wife, children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, friends, and fellow followers of Christ. I can not give enough glory to You for You are above all.
I understand, as Paul wrote and see personally, that in the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born from a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons [and daughters]. And because I am a son, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into my heart, crying “Abba, Father!” Therefore, I am no longer a servant, but a son, and if I am a son, then I am an heir of God through Christ. Consider how much love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now are we children of God, and it has not yet been revealed
what we shall be. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. [Galatians 4:4-7, 1 John 3:1-3, MEV] As a child of God, do I truly see God as Abba Father? All of the foundation of the faith that I have through the salvation given freely to me from Christ makes me a child, but does my faith stand strong enough to see Him truly as Father? Father of creation, Father of salvation, Father that is beyond the impossible and greater than anything I could hope to understand or grasp. I put my faith in You, through the assistance of Your Holy Spirit, to kneel and seek You as my Father and seek to be the child You desire of me, just as my earthly father had expectations for me as a child and growing into a man. Let my faith grow strong in this area.
For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches, He may strengthen me with power through His Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith. And I pray that.
I, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that I may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within me, to Him be glory, Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21
