For this reason, I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches, He may strengthen me with power through His Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith. And I pray that I, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that I may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within me, to Him be glory, Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! [Ephesians 3:14-21]
Holy Spirit, I claim the wisdom that the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight,
but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet He did not sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. [Hebrews 4:12-16] Holy Spirit I kneel before the throne of grace and give glory to Christ my Savior and plead mercy for my short comings and petition that I gain the same spirit as Caleb, Daniel, David and Nehemiah that I may boldly stand for righteousness, grow and use Godly wisdom, take on giants and enemy armies, and rebuild the people within the church family to be united, sound in prayer and strong in faith to see change in our community, state and country. Let us become a beacon and let me shine as one of Your stars to give light to those who have lost or never had hope before in their lives.
Finally, I will be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. I will put on the full armor of God so that I can take my stand against the devil’s schemes. For my struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, I will put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, I may be able to stand my ground, and after I have done everything, I will stand firmly on the foundation of my faith, hope, and God’s wisdom. I will stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, I will take up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Taking the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, I must be alert and always pray for all the saints. I pray peace and faith for my church family and stand with them in unity before My God who can do all things. Amen. [Ephesians 6:10-18]
