I rejoice greatly in You, Oh Lord, I exult in You, for You have clothed me with the garment of salvation and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness, as a groom wears a tux, and a bride adorns herself in jewels. As the earth produces its growth, and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up, the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all nations. Help me take command of this day and shake all evil from it. [Isaiah 61:10&11, ESV]
Holy Spirit help me today, as you do every day since I accepted the gift of salvation to be living with You in my heart and guiding me on how to proceed through my day. Help me to seek forgiveness when I trip up so I can always keep things clear and clean with You. Help me to get stronger in my walk so that I am not so easily distracted by temptations, sin, or stuff that has no value to where I am heading in life. Help me to focus on what is important, handle my responsibilities, and live as close to Christ’s desire of me that I know at the end of the day I am fulfilled and have drank deeply from
the well of living water. Help me to be a good and faithful servant each day so I can sleep peacefully each night knowing I exhausted all things I needed to do for that specific day and to leave the rest in Your hands. Help me to live fulfilling my purpose and utilizing my talents and gifts so that they a properly invested into the life You created for me to live. Help me to always be ready to answer the hope that is within me and to testify of what you have done, what you are doing and will do in my life. Let me be led by Your Spirit, rejoice in life, and walk circumspective before all people. Help me to narrow my focus on: Not being stressed, and instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape my worries into prayer, letting God know my concerns. Then I will know, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle me down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of my life. Finally, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue
and if there is anything praiseworthy—I will meditate on these things. [Philippians 4:6&7 (The Message); Philippians 4:8]
Praise be to You, God, and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed me in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For You chose me before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in Your sight. In love, You predestined me to be adopted as Your son through Jesus, in accordance with His pleasure and will—to the praise of His glorious grace, which he has freely given me in the One He loves. In You, I have redemption through the blood of Christ, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of Your grace that You lavished on me with all wisdom and understanding. And You are making known to me the mystery of Your will according to Your good pleasure, which You purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ. In You I was also chosen, having been predestined according to the
plan of God who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, so that I, who has the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory. And I also was included in Christ when I heard the word of truth, the gospel of my salvation. Having believed, I am marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing my inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. Amen. Ephesians 1:3-14
