Heavenly Father I praise You for the love You demonstrate towards me daily. I praise You for wanting to walk by myside and have a real relationship with me. I praise You that I can talk to You about any and all things. I praise You for allowing me to put all my hope and dreams on You and that I can rest assured You have the best planned for me. I know that I will still face trials and tribulations because of the world I live in. I know nothing will ever be perfect again until I reach heaven. My comfort comes from the fact that I have heaven to look forward to.
Holy Spirit help me to take on Your desires, Your leadership and to utilize Your power through me to accomplish what I am supposed to do for my part in building the kingdom. Let me fully use the talents, gifts and wisdom You have provided to walk with confidence as I try to live my life daily as a living sacrifice for You. Help me to renew my mind, thoughts, desires, will and spirit to be fully acceptable and prepared to do Your will.
Holy Spirit I ask that You would bless and protect the leaders and pastors of the churches I have been praying for. I pray You will not only give them a true solid vision and direction but also teach them to be houses of prayer. Teach them to have a discernment on how to lead, instruct, use and feed their congregations and reach their communities. I pray that You would lead the churches that are in search of a pastor that they will make wise decisions. I pray that the people in the various congregations would be like the disciples and stand up when called and respond to what You need them to do. I also ask that You would help people learn how to apply the gifts and talents You have provided them in their lives so that the church can run in harmony and efficiency. Pastors cannot make a church or do leadership alone. The people who make up the congregation make up the body and each has a role and responsibility to make a church successful.
Holy Spirit let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who are of the household of faith. [Galatians 6:9&10] We are no longer strangers and foreigners, but are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the entire building, tightly framed together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God, through the Spirit. [Ephesians 2:19-22] Help us to keep our temples clean, operating and producing fruit to grow the kingdom.
I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would give you, according to the riches of His glory, power to be strengthened by His Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of Gd. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen. [Ephesians 3:14-21]
