Heavenly Father, I praise You for today and for Your word, which is true and full of wisdom, blessings, and direction. Your word lets us see people as they are, not as they always present themselves. I praise You for creating me to need to learn to trust and lean on others as I make my journey through life.
Holy Spirit, I am a very blessed man today. I have friends whom I can confide in, trust, and are loyal. They also keep me accountable, honest with myself, and most of all, they encourage me to be more than I have been so far. I thank You for Fred, Todd, Daryl, Darryl, and Ryan for being faithful to be available to me at any time and to be honest with me to the point I accept their criticism, as much as their encouragement. They have prayed and walked with me through some very defining times in my life, and still are willing to talk to me and enjoy my company.
I praise You for a wife I can trust and who I share life with. She has taught me to step out on faith and to experience many things that were new but are now just part of my life.
I have been blessed with soon to be 36 years of marriage and a friendship that goes back to when we were 12.
I have learned that You did not create us to do life alone. That is why it is important to have friends, a church family, and others in society that You can depend on to get through life. Most of all I am blessed for the relationship I have had with You, my Savior, my Helper, my Creator that I have committed my life to since I was 16. My journey is marked with many times of Your hand saving or correcting me to keep me on the path that leads to home.
I praise You for being my friend and for all the friends, people and family both church and genetic that are part of my life and push me to make it home. Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen
