Being a Child of God

I consider how much love the Father has given us, that I am called a child of God. The world does not know me, understand me, or want to tolerate who and what I am, because it did not want to do this for Christ, who is within me. Since I am a child of God, it has not been revealed what I shall be. But I know that when He appears, I shall be like He is. Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies themselves, just as He is pure. Father, help me today to take command of my morning and shake all evil from it, and put a hedge of protection around my family.

As a child of God, I have access through the Holy Spirit to the throne room to lay petitions and intercession before Christ, who is my intercessor. I also know that as I abide in Christ, become a living sacrifice, walking as a living temple for the Holy Spirit in this world, and renew my mind daily with God ordained wisdom I will have the discernment to ask for what I know is aligned with God’s will so that I can trust Him to answer according to His will not mine. I bring to the throne room today the request that You will fill with

wisdom, knowledge, understanding and discernment for Emmerson, Mike, Cade, Emma, Akierra, Maddilyn, Margaret, Dallas, Noah, Mariah, Amber, Olivia, Quinten, Gabe, Gavin, Asa, Naomi, Luke, Jack, Rueben, Wyatt, Joshua, Sophia, Aletha, Josh, Eva, Isabelle, Abigail, Brenna, Caleb, Amanda, Elizabeth, Matthew, Lilly, Timothy, Katie, Kayla, Paul, Zoe, Willow, Noah, Doreen, Rachel, Joseph, Todd, Terry, Robin, Esther, and many I can not name here. I also pray and petition healing for Kayla that You will make her whole and strong again. In all things I bring before You I above all seek Your will but I also want to be bold in my faith and trust that Your word is true and that You are still a God who will win those who were instructed by You in their Youth, that You are a God who heals and seeks the best for us. I ask that you bind depression, apathy, bitterness, loneliness, anger, and hatred from all of these and release onto them love, joy, peace, wisdom, patience, longsuffering, and kindness. Give them all hope for eternity, and to learn to trust and follow You. I bear the burden for their salvation, their growth, and their health.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. [2Corinthians 1:3-7; Galatians 1:3-5]
