Heavenly Father I praise You for the sleep I was able to get last night. I praise You for the morning You have given us and I claim Your righteousness for today. I claim Your justice for today and Your forgiveness.
Holy Spirit I pray today for a love one who needs Your justice in a situation. They need Your mercy to protect them from the unjust way policy is done in their establishment. I pray that You will honor their work, their sacrifice for their job, and their past history of demonstrating Your mercy. Let the correct people be disciplined for their actions.
Holy Spirit I come to You today asking for help with my attitude and my anger. Help me to view people in a different way than my personal perspective. Help me to be more tolerant to people who I consider lazy and incompetent. Help me to be more focused on Your will than the pettiness around me. Don’t let me caught up in all the foolishness of this world. Help me to no longer measure people by how they do their work but how their soul ways in the balance of heaven and hell.
Holy Spirit I ask that You help people come to the book signing on Saturday. Help people who need to have a book show up. Let Your word and the example of how to pray Your word be a blessing and help to others. Let the little wisdom You have taught me be blessed onto others.
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. May we glorify Your name daily, Amen! [Philippians 1:9-11]
