Where is Your Freedom

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praise to Your name, Most High, to declare Your faithful love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night with a ten-stringed harp and the music of the lyre. For You have made me rejoice, Lord, by what You have done; I will shout for joy because of the works of Your hands. How magnificent are Your works, Lord, how profound Your thoughts! A stupid person does not know, a fool does not understand this: though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be eternally destroyed. But You, Lord, are exalted forever. For indeed, Lord, Your enemies—indeed, Your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered. You have lifted my horn like that of a wild ox; I have been anointed with the finest oil. My eyes look at my enemies; when evildoers rise against me, my ears hear them. The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the Lord, they thrive in the courts our of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, healthy and green, to declare, “The Lord is just; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” [Psalm 92]

Holy Spirit Your word says, “So then, just as I have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in Him, being rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as I was taught, and overflowing with gratitude.” [Colossians 2:6] Holy Spirit since I gained my freedom from sin and the nonsense of this world, I walk within the wisdom You give me and with a new desire to be worthy of the name of being a child of God. My freedom rests in eternity and not in my current situation here on earth. I am not bound and refuse to be bound by the folly, desires, sin, and darkness of this foolish world and its master Satan.

I thank my God always concerning the grace of God which was given to me by Christ Jesus, that I am enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in me, so that I come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end, that I may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom I am called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. [1Corinthians 1:4-9]
