What I Will Do to Lead People to Christ

Heavenly Father I claim the morning as Job said to do so that I can worship You and find blessing to praise You all the day long. I am blessed and I am joyful for serving You with all I have in my life. I praise You for teaching me it is not about my reputation but Yours. I praise You for giving me examples to follow and for walking with me and prompting me to serve in all ways that I can. I praise You for helping me learn the value of Your word and seeking the promises so that I can claim them for myself and others. I praise You for giving me the gift to lead others in prayer.

Holy Spirit Paul was inspired to write, “Therefore, whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God. Give no offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God, just as I try to please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.” [1Cor. 10:31-33] Holy Spirit teach me to take this to heart and realize that my reputation is no longer important, but Your reputation is all that matters and how I represent You to the world can mean the difference between someone desiring to learn about salvation or being turned off and going to hell. Help me to be flexible enough to live a life that demonstrates Your love even if it makes me uncomfortable. Help me to never be a stumbling block to anyone. Let me serve in a way that people have to confront the issue of who You are and how You can affect their life. I pray for all the teens I served over for years and all the players I coached, and all the students I have taught that they will remember You whether they remember me or not. Help them to come into more people who worship You so that I can see some of them in heaven someday.

I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. [1Corinthians 1:4-9] My Savior, My Redeemer and my Hope, Amen.  lead
