Heavenly Father I praise You for the ability to come to You at any hour, any time and petition You when we need help, mercy, or grace. I praise You for sending the Comforter, the Holy Spirit to walk beside us every day of our spiritual life here on the earth
Holy Spirit I pray now for the healing of Delores’s Niece’s fiancé Marcus. He had a torn aorta and had emergency surgery yesterday at the University of Michigan Hospital. He currently is sedated and doctors are waiting to see how his body responds and if his kidneys will begin working properly. I pray for healing for him and comfort for Delores’s niece who was supposed to marry him this Saturday. We place all this in Your hands.
Holy Spirit, Your word says, “Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, those who receive instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” [Galatians 6:4-10]
Holy Spirit help me to learn to be like the farmer, who waits patiently for spring then prepares the field, plants the crop, protects the crop from weeds and insects and then waits patiently for the crop to grow. Holy Spirit help me to live my life in a way that I invest in preparing people’s hearts to see You through my life. Help me to plant seeds and allow them to grow at their own pace and time. Help me to harvest the ones who are ready to not only learn of You but commit themselves to You. I realize that sometimes my planting will be reaped by someone who follows and that is okay. We all are working to build Your kingdom in people’s hearts here on the earth to prepare for eternity.
Let me live a life where I sow to please the Spirit so that I can reap eternal life and that I plant so that my loved ones and others may reap this also. I pray that my family will learn to sow in a way that will get them to heaven also. I pray for all those whose life I come in contact with, will at least know that I am Yours and why I am yours. Holy Spirit help me to demonstrate my faith in believing in the power, love, mercy, grace and healing You can bestow upon us because of our faithfulness to pray and believe that nothing is impossible for You.
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
