Thankfulness, Gratitude and Acceptance

Heavenly Father I praise You for all that You have done for me in my life. I praise You for sending Jesus to live, teach, and die for my sins and then give hope through His resurrection and for being my advocate. I praise You for the Holy Spirit being my counselor, guide, comfort, and wisdom giver. I praise You for making my life have purpose and not an accident as the world would like me to believe.

Holy Spirit I praise You for my wife who has walked this long journey for over 33 years with me and stood by me through very difficult times, successes, failures, and just plain life. I praise You for giving me a person I can confide in, believe in, and also trust to be independent of me when needed. I praise You for the job she has, how she tries to help people, how she has lived, and how passionate she is. I praise You for being a great mother and an even better grandmother.

Holy Spirit I praise You for the children You brought into my life. My daughter has grown into a beautiful woman, wife, and mother of three. My son has become a Youth Pastor, a Youth for Christ leader, and has a day job also. I also praise You for the time I had with my youngest son before he left this earth to come back to You. He brought great joy and was a big part of my life.

Holy Spirit I praise You for my grandchildren and their differences and uniqueness. I praise You for my oldest grandson who makes me very proud and is learning and growing every day. I praise You for his ability to make sound effects and just enjoy life. I praise You for my granddaughter who has an infectious laugh and can run so fast. I praise You for her creativity and her stubbornness. I praise You for my youngest grandson who Loves trains like my youngest son did. I praise You for his ability to sing and dance at such an early age. He makes my wife and I smile often with his antics.

Holy Spirit I praise You for my church family who has welcomed me in and involves men often in small groups, and bible studies, and allows me to be a part of the worship team. I praise You for the new pastor who pushes me with his sermons and in his friendship. I praise You for the men I have grown to know and fellowship with.

Holy Spirit I praise You for allowing me to continue my prayer ministry and for having a website to teach others how to pray scripture and learn to just talk to You. I praise You for helping me publish books and to be able to speak to people and churches. I praise You for the interview that I participated in that went on Internet TV. I praise You for giving me College students to write to and pray for each week along with intercession for unsaved loved ones and those who need healing. I praise You for bringing people like Kayla into my life who face so many health issues yet are so faithful to witness all You have done for her. I praise You for all the courageous people You have allowed me to encounter in my lifetime.

I praise You for the faithful men and women who pray with me about issues and people I can’t put on my website. I praise You for their support, time, and faith to walk alongside me. I pray they will be richly rewarded someday.

I praise You for the new current employment opportunity that I am getting to experience and I pray that if it is in Your will it will someday become permanent. I praise You for helping me learn how to be a leader and to fulfill the expectations placed on me.

I thank my God always concerning the grace of God which was given to me by Christ Jesus, that I am enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in me, so that I come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm me to the end, that I may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom I am called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. [1Corinthians 1:4-9]
